Christopher Lee (5 mei 1922 – 7 juni 2015) was een Engelse acteur en muzikant. Lee speelde aanvankelijk schurken en werd beroemd door zijn rol als Graaf Dracula in een reeks Hammer Horrorfilms. Andere opmerkelijke rollen zijn onder meer Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man (1973), Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Count Dooku in Star Wars afleveringen II en III (2002, 2005) en Saruman in de Lord of the Rings-filmtrilogie (2001–2003). Lee beschouwt zijn belangrijkste rol als zijn vertolking van Pakistans oprichter Muhammad Ali Jinnah in de biopic Jinnah (1998). Hij staat bekend om zijn diepe, bevelende stem. Lee heeft sinds 1948 in 266 films gespeeld, waarmee hij het wereldrecord van het Guinness boek is voor de meeste filmacteerrollen ooit. Hij werd in 2009 geridderd en ontving in 2011 de BAFTA Fellowship.
